I started these socks in October, just a few days after the first clue was posted. It seemed to me like it took FOREVER to knit these socks. I think partly because I didn't love the pattern on the needles, but every time I put them on a blocker or tried them on, they really were lovely. So I persevered and now I have a lovely pair of socks. And I think this is my first pair of green socks, which I think is really weird, because I really like green!
The details......

Happy Thanksgiving!
I had a wonderful day with lots of family today. The only way I can feel with 13 people around my dining room table that I love is BLESSED! Here are a few snapshots from my day....
What is it about a kitchen? It really is the heart of a home :-)
My oldest son Matthew is enjoying a conversation with Grammy Pete and Grampa Mike.
My brother Mike is catching up with Mom and Dad.
My sister-in-law Betty was a good sport and made the gravy.
Tom carved the turkey.....
.... and the dogs hoped that he would drop some turkey for them.
I agree Chandler. A good day!
Happy Thanksgiving!
